ABOUT YOUR HOST

Ruben Cueto has been teaching for 30 years, earning his Bachelors of Fine Arts (Illustration) from Cal State University Long Beach where he studied under Dick Oden and John Lincoln. He also received a Masters in Humanities (Emphasis in Art) from Cal State University Dominguez Hills. He has a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art.

Ruben is skilled with a variety of media including graphite, watercolor, goauche, charcoal, marker, ink, acrylic, and oil paint. He has been a guest lecturer at Laguna College of Art and Design and has mentored many university students who have gone on to become teachers themselves (partnering with Biola University and Otis College of Art & Design).
